I am from Los Angeles and I moved out to the desert. Me and my fiance started a unwanted item removal company for the local area, and we learned how much waste and trash is being dumped and taken to the landfill. Being a hauling company we did not want to just participate with just taking items no longer wanted to the dump, so our company had adapted a substaintal procedure to our hauling. Our tactics are eco-conscious where as thr invoked act of recycling, reducing, and repurposing as much as we can as possible to be in alliance with others that are as concerned about our environment as we are. People produce alot of waste, and being in a consumerism era they dispose of items barely used, just to buy a newer, latest, updated item. Every item that we aquire is evaluated, analyzed and inspected to decide which path will it end up, will it be recycled?, will it be able to be reused in some kind of way? Or will it be repurposed, where the condition is an above standards condition, where I would use it myself. With these repurposed items that are for sale, a portion of proceeds will be contributed to the local public education system to help with the funding of the schools.
