Hi, I’m a writer and also adore my two rescued lurcher cross dogs and travelling so selling on vinted helps me fund these as a side hustle so I’m very grateful for all those sales. (Clothes are kept in a separate building to the dogs so are kept ‘pet free’). Thank you also to all of you who come back again to buy and to those who took time to leave awesome reviews ❤️.
I spend alot of time in the Lake District and Northumbria* (see pic, with alpaca in Northumberland) where many of my clothes are sourced; anything quirky, quality or fun or just something I really like. You’ll also find the odd kimono from Japan or other items I may have picked up from other parts of the world and particularly the USA where some cool vintage stuff can be found.
Vinted is great because it encourages sustainability which I align with, although I have snuck in a few new items such as sneakers (one offs) which I couldn’t resist.
Packaging is also used with an eye to being sustainable, usually compostable, but even the sticky tape and black plastic bags to post larger items are usually from recycled plastic!
